Master of Engineering in Sustainable Energy and Resources Engineering (SERE)

Program Overview

The Sustainable Energy and Resources Engineering (SERE) program is an international Master’s degree program under the TAIST–Science Tokyo initiative. The program is a collaboration among the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the Institute of Science Tokyo, and leading Thai universities, including Kasetsart University. The program aims to develop highly skilled researchers and engineers with interdisciplinary expertise to address global challenges in energy, resources, and sustainability.

Scholarships and Financial Support

• Full tuition fee coverage
• Monthly living allowance of approximately THB 8,000 (up to 2 years)

(Condition: Students must complete the program within the specified period.)

Applicant Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science in a relevant field
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, or relevant work/research experience
• English proficiency test scores as specified (exemptions apply for graduates from English-speaking countries)

• 15 December 2025 – 20 February 2026
• Interview 2-6 March 2026
• Announcement of Scholarship Recipients 23 April 2026
